For more on the Trivium, mentioned in my last post:
The Trivium was instrumental in aiding my studies of NVC, amongst other arts and sciences that the Trivium has been helpful in the knowledge, understanding and practical applications of each skill set I’ve applied it to. -

Equations of Liberty and Empathy – Extrapolations from an NVC Mandala
Measurable Facts + Emotions = Intentions
Emotions + Values = Connection
Values + Actions = Choice
Actions + Measurable Facts = Freedom
Also, I thought of it this way….
1. (I use) Measurable Facts + Emotions = (to…[Read more]-
This image is colorful, but it has a few problems. Please switch the places of Needs/Values with Feelings/Emotions (and vice versa). I’d like to think I’ve gotten more articulate (in my presentation of the subject matter) since then, as I’ve been…[Read more]

The Evaluative Word List: A Language of Obligation
Part of the “Know your Jackal” series, Part II
“Fancy Jackal”-
Evaluative words
This list of feelings and needs are suggestions only; it’s neither complete nor definitive. It’s just an aid to translating words that are often confused with feelings. When these words are used to try to express to someone your feelings/emotions they do convey a sense of the emotions/feelings at play, but they also imply that…[Read more]
