Great!!!
by listenerthatislistening - Oct 16, 2009
The first and only podcast I listen to. It makes great points of the faults of public education. I'm sure
you will learn a lot from listening to it. I especially suggest it too people who are still in school. Give
it a shot, you'll love it.

Great moral arguments
by rdoogie - Oct 22, 2009
Surprising, fresh, and racical commentary that gets at the moral roots of today's social problems. The way
that children are almost universally bullied and mistreated
lies at the heart of all our social ills. We must break the chain of the ”might makes right" and "the ends
justify the means" philosophical lies that are handed down from generation to generation.

Brilliant points, wonderfully organized and entertaining to top it off. I am a straight guy, but the host
has made me question my sexuality through his awesome greatness.

Amazing and Insightful
by Terker - Oct 26, 2010
Brett does an incredible job of getting to the essence of a complex system. Between an extensive knowledge
of the history of the school system and the insight gained from 10+ years from within it he delivers a
succinct and powerful message.

Made me rethink alot of what I "knew"
by I own my self - Jan 4. 2011
Wow! This podcast helped me look back on my past with a fresh perspective. I was always a "good student" and
now I understand why. I obeyed. I was good at taking orders and listening to directions. My present
perspectives have also changed and have helped me understand a lot of the "roles" individuals play in our
system of power and control. Thanks to Brett for bringing these issues to light and truly opening up my
mind.

Just incredible. Impeccable delivery of difficult to swallow concepts! Well done sir! Perhaps the most
important podcast in my feeds just now!

Possibly the most important podcast if you want to break out of the Matrix.
by mcmikemn - Apr 21. 2010
This is a fantastic podcast, very deep in philosophy but presented to laymen like me. It's an eye-opener,
revealing what the true purpose of school is. Whether due to the inevitable evolution of government
education or to some conspiracy theory of control of the masses, the result of government school is NOT what
it claims, NOT what most people think it is. Listen, and wake up.

Amazing, must listen!

I had an idea of the true purpose of "public education" before I began listening, but was amazed by the
perfect representation made by this podcast series. If you wonder why public education continues to fail,
why it is destined to fail, listen to this.

Eye opening!
by Sarah wassinger - Feb 14, 2011
What a journey I've been on listening to these podcasts. Each one is meticulously produced down to the
perfect music selection. He has a comforting voice and each show is well planned and organized and easy to
follow. He covers some eye opening subject matter and I can't wait to listen to more!

O wretched mortal souls, OPEN YOUR EYES!
by King Tooty - Mar 8, 2011
I would definitely say I began listening to this podcast with a skeptical ear... but upon further review,
this podcast has become my favorite podcast. It encourages debate (which nobody seems to be taking Brett up
on on his show). He doesnt claim to have the answers, but he doesnt pull punches on the joke of a school
system that is being force fed to you, me, and our kids. He also makes VERY clear the danger of blindly
following this stinking pile...

Great
by JailedHatter - Oct 14, 2009
This is my favorite podcast. What it lacks in sound quality, it more than makes up for in amazing content.
Veinotte sheds light on an avoided subject of school's "side-effects" while remaining entertaining and
presenting the information in an accesible manner through interesting and fitting analogies. This is not
just some compilation of paranoia, but a delightful and true (many times in the podcast itself are sources
mentioned and directly cited from) eye-opening lesson...

extremely thought provoking
by Antonia313 - May 2, 2011
I first found this about a year ago. I was still in the glenn beck-esque constitution worship phase, and
thiswas too radical for me then. but now im an avid listener andthis podcast has gotten me to think in very
different ways about everything from school to child-rearing. Ivery much recommend this

Referred by a awesome friend.
by LexanV - Jul 8, 2011
As a future teacher currently going into college, a former public school student who constantly asked all
the tough questions that most of my teachers ignored, and a former-former home school student who still
finds his own ever-adapting answers through never-ending research, this might be one of the greatest
podcasts I've ever heard. A must-hear for any and all of the public. You can bet my future students will
leave their classes a lot smarter than when they entered.

Refreshing
by Monkeycutter - Dec 30, 2011
I'm only 4 episodes in and I'm hooked already. Very refreshing insight so far on the educational and
political systems of America. It's nice to hear someone else
voicing opinions similar to my own when I am surrounded by those satisfied by the status quo. Great work!

For everyone who lokes to think and all us malcontents.
by Rhys9 - Jun 22, 2010
I love this podcast even though his voice is kinda tin sounding. You will be mad and if your not made and
brought into self retro spection then I am confused for you. A question "Might this system actually aide in
producing the quote unquote Neo strain of people". You are the hero of your own saga's!

New favorite podcast!
by Austin Mj - Mar 17, 2012
It's utterly enlightening. I knew some of what he talks about, but the way he describes it, and the
thoughtful reasoning of his arguments, have made this a deeply moving (and angering) experience for me. I
highly recommend this podcast.

Wonderful information
by DavidtheBoxer - Jun 2, 2012
Simply one of the finest pieces of information available. This podcast has undone so much of the damaged
confusion I had regarding history and education. The fact
that so much didn't make sense always made me uncomfortable butI did not have the tools or the language to
communicate it. This podcast is a suit of armor for
the brain. I have but one problem: I studied German for 6 years and Brett has the worst pronunciation of the
language.

Warning - Red pill for public education
by Alchemist79 - Mar 5, 2011

these podcasts and I have to say it has had a significant impact on my plan
going forward with the education of my 8 year old...

Happy Birthday to Me..
by egface - Jul 8, 2012
I come a family of teachers, althought I did not travel down the same path. My mother introduced me to the
'Tragedy & Hope' podcast 81 from there I stumbled on to SSP. The caliber & condensed amount of quality info
by which to further your own studies through show notes listed for every podcast is priceless in my opinion.
Another great attribute, this podcast, for the most part is not time sensitive, Iwas hooked on the most
recent episodes six months ago at first discovery...

More students and parents should listen to this
by Joe SD - Sep 30, 2009
Government schooling is the last place an impressionable child should be forced to attend. Brett does a
great job of connecting the dots and explaining why there so
many people that worship the government today.

Brett has created a master piece
by Frisco D'Anconia - Sep 4, 2009
The tone of the show is warm and comforting; he takes the listeners by their hand and walks them trough
perfectly crafted arguments. After twenty minutes of impeccable logic he proceeds to give a fatal blow to
the root on every episode. Brett has the gift to make the obvious seem obvious. Good rehab for anyone
previously or currently wounded by public education.

just as the late great Harry Browne said...
by Skydoglives - Jan 8, 2010
the worst thing we could have ever let happen is for government to run the schools. Indoctrination Centers
are what they really are. I only started listening and do not write a lot of reviews, but I'm impressed
right out of the gate with this podcast. So great to explore all the liberty oriented podcasts on itunes.
Just hope enough people are listening and getting a real education. Great work here!

Frustrating yet inspiring
by Paul Duane - Jan 31, 2010
Bret's assessment of the situation is common sensical - and that is perhaps what makes it so frustrating.
It's maddening to realize what kind of mess we are in. However - I love that he's raising his voice and
educating the public about the sore state of affairs. Ending the ignorance is the first step on the road to
change. Ive been recommending this podcast to all my friends this week.

Incredible!
by mport1 - Dec 11, 2009
This is one of the best and most important podcasts out there. It is extremely eye opening. Brett does an
amazing job at explaining these complex topics in an easy and entertaining way. He will smash your
previously held illusions about government education. If more people would be exposed to the lessons in this
podcast, the world would be a far better place.
