[BONUS] The Art of Thinking Clearly

(AUDIO, 43 MINUTES) Brett reviews Rolf Dobelli's book and applies some of its lessons to ...

  1. The “slaves built the pyramids” thing also assumes that the listener doesn’t know that the entire population of Egypt was unemployed for a couple months a year as the Nile floods.

That’s a lot of free labor.

  2. Please do this twice a month!

  3. Great conversation! Pleased and a little surprised to hear you give so much time to Graham Hancock. I think you would really enjoy listening to Randall Carlson. Here is his bio via Red Ice and Rogan combined:

‘…a master builder and architectural designer, teacher, geometrician, geomythologist, geological explorer and renegade scholar, student of Sacred Geometry and long time Freemason, Randall Carlson is uniquely qualified to interpret the hidden meaning of the great masterpieces of mystical architecture. Randall emphasizes the cyclical nature of time and the periodic catastrophes responsible for the collective amnesia of our species.’

Carlson’s work on ‘cyclical catastrophe and cosmic patterns’ has leant great weight to Hancock’s theories about ‘pre-historic’, advanced civilizations meeting their end through natural disaster. The two of them just finished a tour of N. America viewing sites of ancient catastrophe. He’s fascinating to listen to. I think you guys would really enjoy it. Here’s the link to him with Rogan: http://podcasts.joerogan.net/podcasts/randall-carlson

Rogan may have set a new, ‘Whooooa!’, record with Carlson as a guest.

Looking forward to the next masterclass. If you get a chance to listen to Carlson, I’d enjoy hearing your thoughts.
